The American Magazine Media’s 360 Conference at the Marriott Marquis featured heavy hitters of the media industry — Condé Nast president Bob Sauerberg, Time Inc. CEO Joe Ripp and more — discussing the future. As WWD noted, there were many interesting moments. None, however, were as entertaining as when Ripp took a shot at BuzzFeed.
Michael Wolff — who led the panel — asked if anyone was scared that print wasn’t as important to consumers as it used to be, Ripp countered that magazine brands will always matter because people trust them.
