TikTok Gears Up for Black History Month
The video creation app will release special stickers and highlight videos by inspiring creators
TikTok is marking Black History Month with special edition stickers and by showcasing videos from some of the inspiring African-American creators on its platform.
Creators can add stickers with positive affirmations to their videos, such as Black History Month, Expression Without Limits and Make Black History.
And throughout February, the #MakeBlackHistory hashtag will showcase relevant videos.
TikTok will also host its first-ever Black Creator Summit Feb. 21, which will feature industry expert speakers and creators, as well as a surprise celebrity keynote speaker, as more than 100 creators spend a weekend “filled with learning, community connections and, of course, creating TikTok videos.”
