Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and the Crowd Intelligence marketing platform launched by Tiger Pistol Thursday is aimed at allowing small and midsized businesses on Facebook to analyze the campaigns of similar businesses and make better decisions.

Tiger Pistol said that when page administrators sign up for Crowd Intelligence, they provide information including type of business, location, and characteristics of typical customers.

Crowd Intelligence then analyzes “millions of data points” to determine the actions that similar businesses have experienced the most success with, including days of the week, times of day, types of content, ad targeting, and budgets.

Co-Founder and CEO Steve Hibberd said in a press release announcing the launch of Crowd Intelligence:

We remove a headache and provide confidence to small business operators, helping them to be successful in just a few minutes a day.
