Three Sales Execs Out at Condé Nast B2B Unit

Three high-level sales executives were let go Jan. 21 from the Fairchild Fashion Group, Condé Nast’s B2B unit.
The moves came a day after Gina Sanders was named president and CEO of the group, from vp, publisher of shopping title Lucky, effective Feb. 1. Her replacement at Lucky hasn’t been named.
The three leaving Fairchild are Lisa Howard, who was chief revenue officer at the Fairchild Fashion Group; and Elizabeth Lunny and Erica Bartman, who were both associate publishers at Women’s Wear Daily (WWD).
They were among a few dozen who were hired by Sanders’ predecessor, Richard Beckman, who left Jan. 12 to become CEO of e5 Global Media. E5 is a new media company whose brands include AdweekMedia (which includes Mediaweek), The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard.
A Condé Nast spokeswoman confirmed the three were leaving the company and would not say if they would be replaced.
The Fairchild unit that Sanders will inherit includes WWD, Footwear News, Fairchild Summits and Fairchild Books. It won’t include upscale fashion magazine W, which will return to the Condé Nast consumer fold. It had moved to Fairchild during the final part of Beckman’s brief reign there.
