THQ Wireless Is All about Smartphones
The iPhone and other smartphones of its ilk really are taking over the mobile game industry, as shown by the latest move from THQ. The game developer axed 100 employees and has shifted its wireless business to focus solely on smartphone games, VentureBeat reports.
THQ’s maneuver includes shuttering its mobile game development labs in San Diego, the UK and Germany.
