Happy Black Friday everyone! If you are reading this it means that you must have snapped out of your turkey coma for long enough to get online and watch some of our favorite viral videos from this week. This week we’ve got Cookie Monster, Angry Birds, the Annoying Orange, a hilarious news fail and half-heartwarming, half-creepy Thanksgiving story.

Sesame Street: Cookie Monster Auditions for SNL

Remember when Betty White got to host SNL thanks to her fans on Facebook? Cookie Monster is now trying to host SNL as well with a new campaign from Sesame Street. Cookie Monster has put together his very own SNL audition tape and is asking fans to like the ‘Cookie Monster should host Saturday Night Live’ page on Facebook. So far nearly 90,000 Cookie Monster fans have liked the page. My only question is, would a Cookie Monster-hosted SNL have to be kid-friendly? The Betty White show certainly wasn’t.

Angry Birds Peace Treaty

The Angry Birds Peace Treaty clip, taken from the Israeli comedy show ‘Eretz Nehederet’ (A Wonderful Land) has been viewed over 1.6 million times this week. The pigs and the birds try to strike a peace agreement, but it doesn’t exactly work out as planned.

Annoying Orange Parodies

To celebrate Thanksgiving, the Annoying Orange kicked off a week of YouTube parodies, based upon fan votes. The viral videos that got the most votes were parodied and released this week, one per day. Check out a couple of our favorites below, and watch the rest on the Annoying Orange YouTube channel.

WGN Morning News Bridge Fail

When WGN Morning News attempted to cover a story about a bridge being imploded to make room for a new bridge, it resulted in one of the best live news bloopers of all time, with over 8.5 million views so far.

Tracking Down The Trans

And finally, here is a heartwarming (yet slightly creepy) Thanksgiving story for you. James West, an Australian who has been receiving emails intended for an American James West from the Tran family for three years, decided that he wanted in on the Thanksgiving plans that were being discussed in the emails. The Trans caught wind of his YouTube plea for an invitation to the dinner and told him he was more than welcome to come! Check out his initial plea video below, as well as him in Florida with the Trans on Thanksgiving day.
