We hear a lot about social media, Big Data, and measurement. But here’s a fun detour: in order to put all that noise in perspective, Internet service provider Irish Telecom created an infographic depicting all the action that happens in a single second:
- More than 8,000 tweets go live
- More than 1,500 Instagrammers post images
- More than 54,000 people click “like” on Facebook
- Netflix viewers watch more than 405 hours worth of content
- 92,000 YouTube videos play
- 46,700 people conduct Google searches
Most shockingly, more than two million three hundred thousand emails go out every single second.
But how many of them go completely ignored?
