Facebook to Begin Work on Third Campus

Facebook will begin work on one of the buildings in the 59-acre, 10-building site at 300 Constitution Ave. in Menlo Park, Calif., that it acquired from TE Connectivity in June, while formulating a “master plan” for the other nine buildings, The Almanac reported.

According to The Almanac, the Menlo Park Planning Commission voted 6-0 (with one abstention) to approve the permit for Facebook to convert a 185,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution building on the site to “general offices and ancillary employee amenities.”

Gehry Partners, which designed Facebook’s West Campus expansion, is also doing the work on the former TE Connectivity site, The Almanac reported.
