ThinkProgess has become the latest media outlet to unionize. The New York Times reports that Writers Guild of America East will represent staffers.
“For us it just seemed like a really natural step both for ThinkProgress and, especially as we looked around, for the digital journalism industry in general,” Alice Ollstein, a politics reporter, told the Times.
ThinkProgress now joins Gawker, Salon and Vice as digital media outlets that have unionized since the start of summer.
