Before joining TheWrap, news editor Daniel Frankel was a writer at Variety, Mediaweek, and E! This afternoon, he faced the unfortunate task of filing a brief exclusive report about a murder apparently commited by one of his former E! co-workers:
Forty-year-old E! facilities manager Sherman Dion Dorsey is being held in Alhambra on $2.7 million bail for the murder of his estranged wife and fellow E! employee Gina Reano. He allegedly broke into visited the home Reano shared with her sister Grace, also an E! staffer, in the early morning hours of Wednesday August 3 and attacked her with a knife.
