There are now more than 25 million small business pages on Facebook

More and more small businesses have been setting up shop on Facebook. Dan Levy, Facebook’s Global Director of Small Business, announced recently at the Dreamforce conference that more than 25 million pages represent small businesses — including e-commerce — all over the world.

Levy previously told Inside Facebook that small businesses are a growing part of Facebook’s advertiser base, which weighs in at more than one million.

A Facebook spokesperson commented on this news:

Prior to this new categorization, Facebook counted the total number of small businesses on Facebook as Pages that had a physical store location.
