"Then + Now" + Deborah Sussman

It’s already been a great year for women and art here in LA. “Wack! Art and the Feminist Revolution” is still running at MOCA, with a lively series of programs surrounding it. Over on the other side of town “Then + Now” is showing the work of 36 Southern California women artists with pieces they produced then (the 70s) and now. Among the many luminaries is the design world’s own Deborah Sussman, who is showing the painting you see above as her “then” as well as graphics from the 1984 Olympics as the “now.”
