‘The Young Turks’ Come to Washington

TYT are getting in on the WHCD action.

The Young Turks, one of YouTube’s top online news networks with more than 2 million subscribers and 1.8 billion lifetime views, will be getting their WHCD action on next week with a live taping and panel discussion at the Newseum in Washington.

Cenk Uygur and Ben Mankiewicz (shout out to a fellow GDS alum) will be hosting a special White House Correspondents Week episode in honor of DC’s big night. Following the show, TYT and the Newseum Institute will present a panel discussion beginning at 4 p.m. called “Do the Media Have Any Real Power?” moderated by Gene Policinski, chief operating officer of the Newseum Institute, and featuring Uygur, Michael Isikoff, and Dylan Ratigan.

When: Friday April 24, 2015

  • 2-3pm – The Young Turks LIVE taping with Cenk Uygur and Ben Mankiewicz.
  • 4-5pm – Panel discussion “Do The Media Have Any Real Power?” Hosted by Gene Policinski, COO of The Newseum Institute.
