TheWrap Wins for Lede of the Day
Any writer/blogger/ranter can tell you that a good lede or opening line to your story is always tough to come up with.
That’s why I had to take the time to shout out TheWrap’s Tim Kenneally for his hilarious (and semi-insensitive) lede from Tuesday regarding Sherman Hemsley’s delayed burial:
“The Jeffersons” star Sherman Hemsley won’t be moving on down, into the ground until at least November, it appears.
Kudos, Tim, though I’m sure he received his share of complaints from people who can’t find the humor in this sort of thing.
