The WHCA Date is Set, but Members Must Pay Up Soon or Suffer the Consequences
It’s time for that annual mad rush, for tables/seats for the White House Correspondents’ Assn. dinner scheduled for May 1 at the Washington Hilton.
WHCA members need to contact — ASAP — Julie Whiston, executive director of WHCA. An organizer explained, “There’s always massive confusion because many regular members have had their memberships lapse during the year and are illegible for ANY tickets unless they are paid up.”
Memberships run from Sept. 30 to Sept. 30. So often by March those memberships can lapse.
