The WhatsApp Business application, which debuted for Android devices in January 2018, is now available for the iPhone in select countries.
The Facebook-owned messaging app said that starting Thursday, WhatsApp Business is available via the iTunes App Store in Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, India, Mexico, the U.K. and the U.S., with a global rollout expected in the coming weeks.
As of January, more than 5 million businesses were using the Android app each month.
Like its Android counterpart, WhatsApp Business for the iPhone will enable businesses to create business profiles containing information such as descriptions of what they do, email and store addresses and URLs for their websites.
They will also have access to messaging tools.
