The Webby Awards teamed up with multi-Webby-winning branding and digital experience design company Basic on the project, which gives visitors a way to mine trends and insights from creative work dating back to 1997.
Webby Awards executive director Claire Graves said, “Over the past two decades, our Winners Gallery has served as a critical resource to spark imagination and ingenuity if you are trying to make great work. Throughout that time, we’ve heard from winners, judges and partners about how they use the site and what will help them do their jobs better. We’ve spent the last year considering those needs, and that research has informed the changes we started to roll out (this week). Through the Webby Gallery + Index, we’ve created an experience that will empower our community to continue to learn from the innovations and creativity of Webby-recognized work to define the future of Internet excellence. We invite anyone looking to create the next big thing to dig into the Webby Gallery + Index.”
