The Washington Post has named Michael Falcone as executive producer of Washington Post Live, the publication’s live events arm. “He brings an incredible wealth of ideas and a strong news background to this role,” wrote Kris Coratti, vp of communications and events, in a memo to staff. Falcone brings with him almost a decade of political editing, reporting and writing experience to the role.
Falcone joins May 1 from ABC News, where he has been senior Washington editor, digital, and oversaw ABC News’ digital coverage of the 2016 elections.
