The Golden State Warriors had the most likes among National Basketball Association teams across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in March, according to social marketing firm Unmetric, while the Los Angeles Lakers led all three social networks in comments for the month.

The Milwaukee Bucks had a strong March, as well, leading Facebook in engagement and Twitter and Instagram in growth.

Unmetric examined its cross-channel reports for all 30 NBA teams from March 1 through 31, and it also found that:

  • There was no change in the audience size leaders for the three social platforms, with the Lakers topping Facebook and Twitter, while the Warriors led Instagram.
  • The Houston Rockets led NBA squads in Facebook growth for the month.
  • The Philadelphia 76ers topped Twitter in engagement, while the Lakers did so on Instagram.
  • The Rockets were the most prolific Facebook posters among NBA teams for March, while the top tweeters were the Bucks, and Instagram was paced by the Phoenix Suns.
