The Wall Street Journal Teams Up with Indian Job Site Naukri.com

NaukriComLogo.jpgSpeaking of job-search sites, The Wall Street Journal‘s Website in India will feature premium job listings from leading Indian job site Naukri.com under terms of an agreement between the latter and WSJ parent Dow Jones.

Users will be able to browse positions offering 15 lakh rupees ($30,000) per year and above, and the two parties will launch a mobile application soon, as well. Content from WSJ.com will also be used in a co-branded newsletter aimed at job-seekers and recruiters within Naukri.com’s résumé database and in relevant sections of Naukri.com.

Dow Jones India managing director Mitya New said:

Working with Naukri.com is the latest example of our commitment to India and the region to provide readers and users with the most regionally relevant experience possible. Our readers rely on the Journal for news and information to make business and personal decisions every day, and the new job listings and related content will enhance that experience and allow us to serve our readers even better.

And Naukri.com founder and CEO Sanjeev Bikhchandani added:

Joining forces with The Wall Street Journal will enable high-quality global content from the Journal to reach our job seekers and recruiters. Given the Journal‘s marquee positioning, it provides an ideal platform for our premium job segment to reach the relevant target audience. This is an exciting move for us at Naukri, which we are certain will prove beneficial for recruiters and senior candidates.
