While the Super Bowl has long been the most epic event for PR’s advertising counterparts, one of the time honored PR stunts of the last decade is the famed “banned Super Bowl ad.”

Domain name seller GoDaddy has employed the tactic numerous times, including this year. Of course, these ads are tailor made to get banned, allowing the brand to then bask in all of the publicity around the banned ad.
