The Times Down 20M Page Views After Instituting a Pay Wall

More pay wall news today, as the Times‘ move to a paid service has not shown solid results on the page view front. According to Comscore, the two sites that went to a paid service on July 2, has lost nearly 20 million page views from its pre-pay wall levels in May.

The report also shows a significant loss in unique visitors, dropping from 2.79 million in May to 1.61 million in July. The readers spent less time on the site, as well.
