Bill Simmons’ upcoming site The Ringer has added more staffers. Details are below.

  • Katie Baker, who previously worked for Simmons at Grantland, has joined to cover culture, sports, tech and more.
  • Another former Grantland staffer, Jason Concepcion, joins to cover the NBA, Game of Thrones and contribute to the Ringer newsletter.
  • Allison Davis has been named a cultural critic and feature writer. She previously worked for New York’s The Cut.
  • Jason Gallagher, another former Grantland staffer, will work on viral videos.
  • Sam Donsky joins as a writer covering culture and sports. He previously worked for The Players’ Tribune.
  • Alison Herman has joined as a writer covering TV. She previously worked for Flavorwire.
  • Molly McHugh, most recently with Wired, will cover tech.
  • Sam Schube will serve as a culture writer. He previously worked for GQ.
  • Former Grantland intern Megan Schuster has been named a researcher for the copy desk.
  • Jonathan Tjarks has joined to cover basketball. He previously served as a columnist for RealGM.
  • Lindsay Zoladz, most recently New York’s pop music critic, is joining as critic and feature writer.
