  • The America’s Future Foundation is handing over the editorship of its political webzine Brainwash to Washington Times National Political Reporter Eric Pfeiffer. Before coming to the Washington Times earlier this year, Pfeiffer wrote for National Review and was a Senior Writer with the National Journal’s Hotline. He was written for publications across the political spectrum, including the New Republic, Weekly Standard, Reason and Washington Monthly (and homeboy’s got a piece up at Time.com)

  • Both Aaron Bernstein and Catherine Yang are leaving BusinessWeek (as the layoffs begin)

  • News editor Chris Orose left the Examiner and has been replaced by Dustin Weaver.

  • Tara deNicolas has left Fox WTTG.

  • New ABC7 News Director: Tom Davis returns to the ABC7/NewsChannel 8 news team. “Tom will be joining us at the end of the November sweeps as ABC7 News Director replacing Jamie Foster.” Tom was the ABC7 Executive Producer and Assistant News Director up until two years ago when he departed for WPVI-TV in Philadelphia.

  • More details on N.Geo’s recent layoffs: Two of them have been there for a while, are under 40, started out as researchers and worked their way up.
