The Return of Kenny Day

From Ann Pelham, Publisher, Legal Times:

    Dear Colleagues:

I’m pleased to announce that Legal Times has a new director of advertising, Kenneth Day, who will start on Monday, Nov. 12. Thank you in advance for helping him get up to speed on the many facets of ALM advertising.

Kenny, a native of the Washington, D.C.-area, has extensive publishing experience, including several years in advertising and marketing at Roll Call and its sister publication in Brussels, European Voice. He also served as publisher of Washington Flyer magazine and as director of sales at Regardie’s, a popular but short-lived business magazine here.

In addition to traditional print advertising, Kenny has focused on the web, on recruitment advertising (i.e., classified), and on events. Among the events he has spearheaded are “The EV50” for European Voice, which recognizes top European leaders in a special issue and at an annual gala, and the 50th anniversary of Roll Call (handy experience for next year’s 30th anniversary of Legal Times).

Kenny is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where he majored in mass communications (and played some rugby).

We are quite excited to have someone with Kenny’s experience and skills join Legal Times. And our ad sales group is glad the acting ad director (i.e., me) is finally being replaced.
