PALM SPRINGS, Calif.—Qualtrics, the Provo, Utah-based experience management company, has taken the trade show game to a whole new level.
The company, which is now part of SAP, assembles what it calls the Dream Team at conferences across the country. Here’s how it works: You need something—a sweatshirt, running pants, shoes, etc.—but you’re at an event. What to do?
If the Dream Team is on hand, there might be a solution. At our Brandweek summit, attendees could open Adweek’s app for the event, request what they wanted, and the Dream Team made it happen (short of anything too outrageous, like a sunset helicopter ride, a Porsche or getting your mortgage paid off).
We caught up with Tyler Woolstenhulme, head of corporate events at Qualtrics, for more on how the economics of the Dream Team work. We also talked with some Brandweek attendees whose trending sandwich dreams came true.
