The National Football League was a red-hot Hot Topic on Facebook in January, while Instagrammers focused a bit more on the Golden Globe Awards, according to Facebook IQ.
The social network’s research arm found that Facebook users chatted about Patrick Mahomes, the New Orleans Saints, Tom Brady and the National Basketball Association’s Golden State Warriors last month.
Brady, the Saints and the Los Angeles Rams were also sports Hot Topics on Instagram.
Meanwhile, the Golden Globes and Lady Gaga dominated entertainment chatter on both social networks, but led Instagram.
