The New Yorker's 'Politics of Fear' Cover: Political Satire or Downright Offensive?

Let the quarterbacking begin! Over at Eat the Press David Remnick tells Rachel Sklar that he ran the already controversial ‘Politics of Fear’ cover because he felt that it held “up a mirror to the prejudice and dark imaginings about Barack Obama,” furthermore, Remnick says it’s “not a satire about Obama — it’s a satire about the distortions and misconceptions and prejudices about Obama.” Plenty of people are disagreeing, including a number of commenters over at HuffPo who say
