The New York Times Names New Motherlode Blogger

KJ Dell’Antonia has been named the new writer at the New York Times’ Motherlode blog. She succeeds Lisa Belkin, who left in October and started “Parentlode,” at The Huffington Post — a decision which prompted the Times to sue for trademark infringement.

In a post introducing herself, Dell’Antonia said that most of Motherlode would remain the same, but added that there will be more firsthand reporting, new regular columns and a wider discussion of the news and latest research regarding children.
