The New York Times Co. to Start Its Press Engine

The New York Times Co. will make its multiplatform publishing technology available to other media organizations with its launch of Press Engine, and the company announced that the first users of the new platform will be Telegraph Media Group and three A.H. Belo-owned newspapers: The Dallas Morning News, The Providence Journal, and The Press-Enterprise of inland Southern California.

Other newspapers owned by The New York Times Co. — including the International Herald Tribune, The Gainesville Sun, and The Lakeland Ledger — will also participate in the launch of Press Engine.
