The New Republic Appoints Richard Just As Editor, Franklin Foer To Become Editor-At-Large

Today, The New Republic has announced the promotion of Richard Just to editor. Meanwhile, Franklin Foer, the publication’s former editor, will now take on the role of editor-at-large.

Just has been with The New Republic since 2004, when he began as its online editor. He has since worked as its deputy editor, managing editor, and executive editor.

Foer will cover politics for The New Republic, including the 2012 elections, both in print and online. He will also work on a book chronicling “the birth of American liberalism,” due out in 2013.
