The Most Innovative App at Mobile World Congress? A Selfie App
The selfie app, CamMe, was just awarded the most innovative mobile app at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Its main feature is self-portraiture using hand gestures from up to sixteen feet away. The app also comes with a film strip that gives a photobooth effect and funshots that has scene cutouts.
Other winners included Citymapper, the best overall app and Device 6, the best game and entertainment app. Device 6 is a beautiful literature themed puzzle game that “plays with the conventions of games and literature, entwines story with geography and blends puzzle and novella, to draw players into an intriguing mystery of technology and neuroscience.”
