The Game Off the Hook with LA Sheriff's Department
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department has decided to drop its investigation of The Game, nearly a week after someone posted on his Twitter feed that the rapper was looking for an intern–and gave the number to the LA Sheriff’s Department’s Compton station. The Game’s 583,000-odd followers subsequently overloaded the Compton station’s help line.
The Sheriff’s Department wanted The Game to apologize for the prank. He refused for quite some time, but finally came around yesterday after he’d milked the attention for pretty much all it was worth.
