The Economist Launches Lifestyle Title 1843

The more magazines, the better.

12794414_1136765253023641_2720473739616008058_nThe Economist Group has expanded its offerings with the launch of 1843, a bi-monthly culture and lifestyle magazine. The title is a rebrand of Intelligent Life, which debuted in 2007.

1843 is available by subscription and on newsstands. The Economist Group has also decided to send it free to The Economist’s “most engaged readers.”

The Economist’s global managing director of client services Nick Blunden serves as 1843’s global publisher. Luke Robbins, most recently with Hearst U.K., is associate publisher EMEA.
