The Economist Comes To Android
After having success with its iPhone/iPad app, The Economist has a new Android app.
Every Thursday at 5pm ET, the app has the latest weekly issue of the publication. Like the iOS apps, the free Android app comes with six free articles from the week’s issue. Users can purchase the entire issue of the weekly magazine for $5.99 or sign up for a digital subscription. Each digital issue includes audio of all of the stories in the magazine read aloud by newscasters.
