The Danish are Coming!
The Danish fugitive, alleged scam artist Stein Bagger turned himself in over the weekend at the Skid Row police station in downtown LA. Since he was dressed like a mortgage broker circa 2007 (Armani jacket and Rolex watch) the police didn’t believe him at first.
From the LAT story:
“We’ve had several people come in and tell us they were the king of Denmark,” explained Officer Jack Richter.
For the record, he probably would have gotten the same reaction in West Hollywood.
Anyway, apparently this is a HUGE story in Denmark.
