The Daily Dot Clarifies: Elmo Not an Anti-Vaxxer

Here’s an interesting twist on the PSA. In case you missed it, on Friday the Department of Health and Human Services turned to digital media property The Daily Dot and everyone’s favorite red puppet to remind everyone that vaccines are nothing to freak out about.
Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and Elmo also starred in a shorter version of the above, which went live on the Department’s page Friday afternoon:
The Department apparently turned to The Daily Dot to get more coverage for Murthy’s first significant move since his confirmation to the position back in December.
