The Brooklyn Paper Staunchly Defends Puppetry Critic

Yes, there really are puppetry critics, and yes, they apparently need defending. Today, The L Magazine came across a piece in The Brooklyn Paper written by Thurston Dooley III, who chides a children’s puppet show for – among other things – “a lackluster performance.”

Dooley notes in his piece that the child he was with didn’t even notice all the horrible things wrong with the Puppetworks performance of The Wizard of Oz, but no matter! Dooley could not sit idly by when such an “egregious sin” was happening in front of him.
