The Beatles on iTunes: Wake Us When It Finally Happens

Every few months this one goes by, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t report on it, right? Multiple UK news outlets are now reporting that Sir Paul McCartney has reached a deal with Apple to offer the Beatles catalog on the iTunes Store, according to Ars Technica.

The deal is expected to be worth $400 million. The article said that while McCartney will be keeping much of the money, several other parties stand to benefit from the deal, including families of the deceased members of the Beatles, Ringo Starr, Sony, EMI, and the former owner of the catalog, Michael Jackson.
