Text With NY Times Food Editor for Thanksgiving

Gobble, gobble, gif.

The New York Times is ready to lend a helping hand to readers who aren’t skilled in the kitchen.

Starting today, Times food editor Sam Sifton will exchange texts with readers that are interested in receiving recipes, have questions about turkey and more. The service—which the Times has dubbed “Turkey Text”—will run through November 25.

“Thanksgiving can be stressful—but it doesn’t have to be,” said Sifton, in an announcement. “With Turkey Text, we hope to help you make this Thanksgiving the best and most rewarding holiday of the year.”
