There's a revolution going on in new high-tech options for consumers to handle their finances, and it could eventually bring about the end of cold, hard cash as we know it, acknowledges Tariq Hassan, Bank of America's head of global wealth management marketing and global brand strategy.

But Hassan is more interested in how that tech enables people to more simply move their money and value around through what he calls intuitive technology. Interestingly, some of the more novel advancements in e-finance are taking place in other parts of the world. Here's what Hassan had to say about it.
