Techmeme Launches Mediagazer

Techmeme announced the launch of Mediagazer, its first new news vertical in nearly four years, saying the site will focus on content production and distribution, with topics including journalism, blogging, video production, e-books, and digital distribution technologies.

Megan McCarthy will be the editor of Mediagazer, bringing her experience from both Techmeme and Gawker. And the new site’s sponsors are WordPress, Tynt Insight, Zemanta, Smash Summit, and Seesmic.

McCarthy said in a post titled Introducing Mediagazer:
