#TBT: Fidel Castro on Meet the Press

In the spirit of yesterday’s news out of Havana, NBC dusted off an old clip from their archives.

On April 19th, 1959, Fidel Castro appeared on “Meet the Press” in Washington, DC and was asked by host, Lawrence Spivak, about his feelings on the American people, “to the people of the United States, sincerely, what I think about the citizens of the United States [is] that they are very nice and noble people…”
