When Tapas was launched in 2015 by Spainmedia as a dual Spanish and English-language offering, the publication was heralded as the first in Spain to combine “gastronomy and lifestyle.” With room, when needed, for the side ingredient of politics.
The image used by Tapas for its May 2017 issue first started circulating on the Internet in January. It reminds Fishbowl of a certain sandwich trumpeted last fall by Olive Leaf, a deli in Brooklyn’s Bed-stuy neighborhood.
