T-Mobile Is Taking Its #HatsOff4Heroes During Major League Baseball All-Star Week

The wireless carrier will donate at least $1 million to Team Rubicon

T-Mobile, the official wireless provider of Major League Baseball, is readying a full roster of initiatives for the league’s All-Star break next week.

During the 2017 World Series, T-Mobile donated $20,000 for every home run that was hit and $2 for every tweet including the #HR4HR hashtag up to $500,000 toward Team Rubicon’s hurricane relief and recovery efforts in Puerto Rico, Texas and Florida.

The wireless carrier is running a similar initiative for MLB’s 2018 regular season, donating at least $1 million to Team Rubicon—$1 for every tweet and Instagram post with the #HatsOff4Heroes hashtag throughout the season.

The T-Mobile Home Run Derby will be held Monday night at Nationals Park—site of the 2018 All-Star Game and home of the Washington Nationals—and the wireless carrier will donate $5,000 for every home run, doubling that when a magenta ball is hit over the fence during bonus time.
