Suspicious Envelope Opened At Post HQ

An envelope was opened in the Circulation Department this afternoon that contained white powder. It appears to be a hoax, but we have contacted the DC Hazmat team and they will be arriving shortly to test the powder. The Hazmat personnel will probably be wearing protective gear. We will report back the on-site test results as soon as we have them. In the meantime, the Security Department is keeping people away from the area where the envelope was opened.
