2018 FIFA World Cup Russia captured the attention of sports fans on both platforms, as the tournament itself was a Hot Topic on Facebook for June, while Instagram users chatted up the national teams of Argentina and Portugal.
On the entertainment side, America’s Got Talent and Chris Pratt were Hot Topics on Facebook last month, while Beyoncé, Ariana Grande and the BET Awards sizzled on Instagram.
The late Anthony Bourdain led conversation about people on both platforms.
