Stuttering Foundation Blasts Trump
In a release called “Shame on You, Mr. Trump,” the Memphis-based Stuttering Foundation is lambasting possible presidential hopeful Donald Trump this morning for making fun of SNL comedian Seth Meyers. Trump said Meyers stuttered during his performance Saturday night at the WHCD.
Jane Fraser, president of the Stuttering Foundation, responds to Trump’s comments on Meyers:
“Shame on you, Mr. Trump! We at the Stuttering Foundation find it discouraging that in 2011, Donald Trump has chosen to use the word ‘stutterer’ in a derogatory fashion, something to be made fun of, to describe Seth Meyers’ speech at the annual White House Correspondents’ dinner.
