Study: Nearly Two-Thirds of the Fortune 50 are Using Mobile Comms

Research from Burson-Marsteller and “sister firm” Proof Integrated Communications shows that 62 percent of Fortune 50 are using mobile communications to reach stakeholders. The study looked at whether these companies were using QR codes, text messages, mobile apps, or mobile websites for external outreach.

Fifty-eight percent of the companies reviewed offer an app for an iPhone, Android, and/or Blackberry phone, the study found. Thirty-eight percent have mobile sites. However, only 39 percent of companies mention these mobile offerings on the corporate website.
