Street Artists Converge On LA for Top Secret Convention


Those of you in Southern California who like your walls to be kept nice and tidy: keep an eye on them this weekend. Three of the world’s biggest propaganda gods will be making their marks with big public events and, we hope, potential private tomfoolery–which may send non-fans running for Sherwin-Williams come Monday.

Banksy, who has already graced Anaheim with his version of a freshly-baked pie, is hosting a three-day extravaganza at a to-be-disclosed warehouse location.

Neck Face gets sculptural on our asses on Saturday with “The Night After Halloween,” a freaky 3D show at New Image Art.

And Shepard Fairey opens his solo exhibition “Rise Above,” also this Saturday at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery.
